Submission Requirements
We require PC-formatted electronic artwork as a print-optimized PDF, JPG, TIF or EPS. Submitted artwork must be optimized for 150 LPI output at 300 DPI, and must include all screen and printer fonts. Disks and/or CD-ROMs must be accompanied by full-size CMYK color laser proofs and/or a full-size black and white laser proof.
Bleeds
Glossy full-page and two-page spreads allow for a full bleed, with the final trim being 17" x 11" or 8.5" x 11". Set artwork to allow for 0.125" bleed on all four sides, with live image area at 0.25" from trim. No safety is required for gutter.
Artwork Services
VRP will provide design services for display advertising at rates specified in the Current Rate Schedule. An and all specialized fonts, logos and /or graphics requested by the advertiser are the sole responsibility of the advertiser, and are to be provided within one week of contract. Please contact our office and/or Production Manager for more information.
Submission Deadline
Deadline for the submission of and/or the request to have media design is as stated on the production schedule. Please submit all information and material within a week of contracting for specified display advertising space. All artwork submitted not confirming to the above specifications, including the submission deadline, will be subject to additional production charges. If the production charges are not paid when billed prior to publication, the contract will be voided and all deposits held forfeit, with display space subject to resale.
Design Proofs
Each display design created will be given one proof and one corrected proof. Any further request to alter, change or redesign the ad will be billed at $75.00 per hour, with a minimum charge of one hour.
